Washington Huskies basketball updated 2020-21 schedule
Washington Huskies basketball starts a new year next week. We have the updated schedule through the end of the 2020-21 season.
The best word to describe Sunday’s announcement about canceling the Apple Cup game is … crushing. That was going to be one of the few bright spots in an otherwise dismal year. Washington Huskies fans will have to wait until late-January to give game-week tongue-lashings to their in-state rivals.
Led by super freshmen Jalen McDaniels and Isaiah Stewart, 2019-20 was supposed to be a memorable season. Instead, the Huskies finished last year in the Pac-12 cellar. Overall, UW had a 15-17 record. It was head coach Mike Hopkins’ first losing season.
The Huskies will try to reverse their fortunes with another young and talented team this season. This time around they have the experience of Hameir Wright and Quade Green to lean on. Finishing last again is not an option.
