NFC North
Detroit Lions
Week 6: Meanwhile, in a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals 34-11, Levi Onwuzurike was in on 15 defensive snaps without a tackle along with playing on special teams.
Week 7: The Lions lost to the Los Angeles Rams 28-19. Levi played on 22 snaps with two tackles.
Week 8: The Lions lost to the Philadelphia Eagles 44-6. It is tough to be a Lions fan since they are 0-8. Levi’s most playing time was in 29 snaps on defense.
Week 9: great news for Lions a bye week
Green Bay Packers
Week 6, 7, and 8: Kevin King missed all three games with a shoulder injury. Though the Packers won all three games, they needed King back in action.
Week 9: Kevin King returned. The Packers’ defense played a good game. King had ten tackles on the night.
No other team in the NFC North (Chicago and Minnesota) has any Washington Huskies alumni on their roster.
NFC East
New York Giants
Week 6: The New York Giants lost to the Los Angeles Rams 38-11. John Ross had two passes thrown his way, but neither one connected. Dante Pettis had five receptions for 48 yards.
Week 7: The Giants beat the Carolina Panthers 25-3. Initially, it was thought John Ross would miss the game with a hamstring injury; instead, he started and had two catches for 27 yards. Pettis had five catches for 39 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, in the third quarter, Pettis was part of a trick play; he threw a 16-yard pass to quarterback Daniel Jones for his first career completion. Danny Shelton had two tackles. Danny Shelton is inactive.
Week 8: The Giants lost to the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football 20-17. John Ross had two catches for 72 yards and a kickoff return for 12 yards. However, Dante Pettis had no catches and had to leave the game early with a shoulder injury. Danny Shelton is inactive.
Week 9: The New York Giants beat the Las Vegas Raiders 23-16. Consequently, without John Ross, who missed the game with a quad injury. Pettis didn’t play as he went on injured reserve. Danny Shelton returned with one tackle.
No other team in the NFC East (Dallas, Washington, Philadelphia) has any former Washington Huskies players.
