Our game day-eve injury report. PNWS lets you know who could miss Sunday’s Week 3 game.

Once again, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson dissected another top defense. He threw five touchdowns to five different receivers on the way to a 35-30 win over New England. This victory was costly. The Seahawks lost three key defensive players, Bruce Irvin, Marquise Blair, and Rasheem Green, to injury.

Another fantastic early-season game between two potential playoff teams. CenturyLink Field will be fan-less again this week. The 12s will once again couch-gate for this one.

Injury Report

Seattle Seahawks

Out – WR Josh Gordon (suspended), G Phil Haynes (n/a), DE Bruce Irvin (Knee), DE Rasheem Green (Neck), CB Marquise Blair (Knee), WR Phillip Dorsett (foot). Questionable – OT Cedric Ogbuehi (chest), CB Neiko Thorpe (hip), CB Quinton Dunbar (Knee), DE Benson Mayowa (Groin). Probable – DT Jarran Reed (neck/back), LB Cody Barton (Quadricep).

Notes – The Seattle Seahawks injury woes continue to wreak havoc on the defensive depth. In addition to Irvin and Blair, defensive end Rasheem Green went on injured reserve this week. Fifth-round pick Alton Robinson will make his debut against Dallas. The DE, who was inactive the first two weeks, takes Reed’s place on the game-day roster.

Dunbar was limited in practice, but head coach Peter Carroll was optimistic he could play. That’s good because backup corner and special teams ace, Neiko Thorpe, is a game-time decision. Finally, left tackle Duane Brown did not practice Wednesday or Thursday. In last week’s game, guard Mike Iupati rolled up on Brown’s right ankle and knee during a first-half play. The good news resting the former All-Pro tackle was just precautionary. He is good to go on Sunday.

Dallas Cowboys

Out – TE Blake Jarwin (Knee), CB Anthony Brown (Ribs), CB Chidobe Awuzie (Hamstring), LB Sean Lee (Pelvis/Groin), LB Leighton Vander Esch, RT La’el Collins (Hip), OT Cam Irving (Knee), WR Ventell Bryant (Knee). Questionable – LT Tyron Smith (Neck), CB Trevon Diggs (Shoulder). Probable – DE Demarcus Lawrence (Knee)

Notes – If there was ever a week to “Let Russ Cook,” this is it. Dallas comes into this game with a defense that’s in worse physical condition than the Seahawks. If his offensive line can protect him, Wilson should carve up a secondary missing three of their top cornerbacks. The Cowboys are also without their two top middle linebackers. Not only can Seattle throw, but they should also be able to establish a strong running attack.

Seattle’s defense still has to find a way to get into the Dallas backfield. Quarterback Dak Prescott still has running back Ezekiel Elliott and receivers Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, and CeeDee Lamb in his arsenal.
