Outlook
This game is all about the pass rush. The Seattle Seahawks must get pressure on Jimmy Garoppolo. Get to him often enough, and it takes play-making wide receiver Deebo Samuel out of the equation. If Jimmy G. gets time, Seattle’s cornerbacks just aren’t good enough to hold Niners’ receivers at bey.
Conversely, San Francisco has a dynamic defensive line. The Seahawks O-line comes into the game beat up, which is a bad combination for Russell Wilson. He has to get rid of the ball quickly and let his receivers break free after the catch.
Matchups to watch
San Francisco TE George Kittle vs. Seahawks MLB Bobby Wagner and S Jamal Adams.
Seahawks WR D.K. Metcalf vs. San Francisco defensive backs.
