The Bears lost eight of their last nine games. They haven’t covered in five straight.

Even though the over/under is a very low 41.5, the under might still be a good bet. The Seahawks have gone under in 6 of 8; and 9 of 12, including 4 of the last 5 games at Lumen Field. Meanwhile, Chicago’s total went under in 9 of 13.

Last Game

Seattle Seahawks 10 – Los Angeles Rams 20

The Seahawks went into Los Angeles decimated by COVID-19. The offense missed WR Tyler Locket as L.A. defensive backs stifled D.K. Metcalf, taking away Russell Wilson’s top two weapons. Meanwhile, the Rams took advantage of a DJ Reed-less secondary to control the clock. Needless to say, the Seahawks’ two-game win streak was snapped.

  • QB Russell Wilson – 17 of 31 passing for 156 yards, 1 interception.
  • RB Deejay Dallas – 8 rushes for 41 yards, 1 touchdown.
  • TE Gerald Everett – 4 receptions for 60 yards.
  • LB Jordyn Brooks – 11 tackles (7 solo), 2 tackles for loss.

Outlook

Although the Seattle Seahawks struggled year, without their defensive stars, Chicago is just bad. They lost seven of their last eight games and have few prospects for the rest of this season.

Reed won’t play again this week, but Chicago’s quarterback carousel turns again as Nick Foles makes his first start of the season. The Bears’ only constant under center is inconsistency. Seahawks edge rusher Carlos Dunlap II finally broke out of his season-long slump last week. He’ll be coming after Foles.

Wilson gets Tyler Lockett back this week. Without him, the offense struggled in Los Angeles. In the two weeks prior, Russ looked like the RW3 of old. That should pick back up again on Sunday.
