Outlook
After the Seattle Seahawks traded Russell Wilson to tonight’s opponent, it’s almost a blank slate for both teams.
Seattle and Denver may have new quarterbacks, but they both bring back their top rushers from last season. Javonte Williams and Melvin Gordon combined for 2,340 yards and 17 total touchdowns for Denver. Meanwhile, Rashaad Penny rand for 706 yards and 8 TDs in the Seahawks’ final 6 games.
Denver’s defense allowed a miserly 18.9 points per game last season, which is roughly where the Seahawks should come in tonight. It’s on the Seattle Seahawks’ defense to hold Wilson to fewer points.
If the Seahawks didn’t have enough incentive to win tonight, Wilson recently gave them plenty of bulletin board fodder. The 12s should have Lumen Field rocking this evening.
