Seattle Seahawks Dud and Stud of Game 9 vs. Arizona

The Seattle Seahawks won their fourth straight game with a 31-21 win over NFC West Rival Arizona. Here are our Dud and Stud of the game.

Seattle Seahawks
Tariq Woolen, Seattle Seahawks.

2nd Honorable Mention

The second honorable mention this week goes to Seattle Seahawks cornerbacks Tariq Woolen, Mike Jackson, and Coby Bryant. Seattle’s DB trio combined to keep receiver DeAndre Hopkins from making an impact. They held the three-time All-Pro to four receptions for only 36 yards and one TD.

1st Honorable Mention

How about edge rusher Uchenna Nwosu? Our first honorable mention gave Kyler Murray fits all day.

He finished the game with 2 sacks, 3 QB hits, and 4 total tackles. The only blemish on his game was an offside penalty that helped the Cardinals to sustain a drive.

Stud of the Week

It’s no surprise that Geno Smith is our Stud of the Week. The Seattle Seahawks quarterback keeps finding ways to win.

He did throw a pick-six in the game. But turned himself and the team around afterward with a sustained 75-yard touchdown drive.

Smith finished the game with 26 completions on 34 attempts for 275 yards, 2 TDs, and that interception. He continues to make the Seattle Seahawks look like geniuses by trading Russell Wilson and trusting the team to him as the starting quarterback.
