Portland Trail Blazers: C’mon Dame, say what you mean!
Since Neil Olshey fired Terry Stotts, Damian Lillard has flip-flopped over every Portland Trail Blazers’ decision. It’s frustrating.
Portland Trail Blazers fans want to know where Dame stands on some important questions.
- Are you staying?
- Did you want Chauncey Billups to replace Stotts?
- Do you want to play with Ben Simmons in Rip City?
It would be nice if Lillard would say what he means and then sticks to it.
I’m not ashamed to say that I am dizzy. I’m dizzy trying to keep track of everything Damian Lillard says, and then everything he says he didn’t say. Instead, he uses Twitter and Instagram and leaves cryptic Kyrie Irving-type messages.
On leaving the Blazers, or staying?
Right after Neil Olshey threw Terry Stotts under the bus, when we see this on Instagram:
When BlazerNation went nuts wondering if their star was leaving, a solemn Stephen A. Smith promised them,
“He’s devastated. Just absolutely positively devastated. He wasn’t casting any aspersions or pointing any fingers at anybody with his Instagram post. He was just saying, ‘yo man, this is real to me. I live this. It hurts like hell to be going home in the first-round. I don’t give a damn what I did or what we supposedly did. We are home in the first-round.’ That is not something he anticipated coming into these playoffs.”
Awww…yeah. Why did you say it if you didn’t mean it? And you used Nipsey Hussle! I think that after you heard all the commotion and didn’t have a move in place, you were all…” I didn’t mean it. Tell them Stephen A.” I understand BlazerNation. I’ve been a Knicks fan since I was 12. It has given me a high sense of smelling bull. I’m sorry when people are not telling the truth.
That’s just the first time he’s done it since Stotts has been gone. So let’s look for a new coach.
